ADOPTION A lot of animals here at Urban Safari Rescue Society have been rescued or donated to us by people who perhaps bought them as pets and then realized they were either something that didn't fit their lifestyle, or were too dangerous or large for them to continue to care for. We strive to educate you on how to care for your pet as well as what makes or does not make a good pet! Exotic pets require a lot of time and care and should never be entered into lightly.
Having said that, from time to time we have wonderful animals, exotic and otherwise, which because of overstock we can adopt out to good homes who are committed to their proper care and maintenance. Our Adoption Fee is based on a reflection of the cost of housing and feeding the animal while they are in our care.
